Suggest Treatment For Cuts In The Foreskin And Painful Urination

Hi i am male 38 years & diabetic. Off late im facing problems in my penis very often. Consulted a Dermatologist & he suggested a clotrimazole cream & told this is quiet common in diabetic. Also i am facing irritation during urination & cuts in the foreskin. Is circumsion / sunnath operation is advisable?

Hi
The best treatment for you would be circumcision as the foreskin problem is only going to get worse and not better with diabetes.
Meanwhile try and gently pull the foreskin during bath and clean and keep it dry. Do not apply any powder or cream to the foreskin.
If fungal infection presists you could try a single dose of fluconazole taken by mouth -contact your dermatologist for the same.
