nerve damage. It is known as sensorineural deafness.
And yes, you can definitely claim
disability allowance on the basis of childhood deafness.
But first of all you need to consult ENT doctor and get done endoscopic examination of ears. This is needed to rule out any structural abnormality present or not. Since you are also having
tinnitus and throbbing sound, infection should be ruled out by endoscopic examination.
Then you will need audiogram. This test is must for the diagnosis as well as to know the severity of the deafness.
Treatment like cochlear implants can be tried according two the severity on audiogram.
So consult ENT doctor and discuss all these.
