Suggest Treatment For Degeneration Of Auditory Nerves.

i am suffering from ringing noise in both the ears . the condition is about 4 years old. MRI of brain was done . doctors have diagnosed it as degeneration of auditory nerves. i am 35 years old female. so, please suggest to me about how to treat this condition and where to go for treatment. i reside in new delhi.

Well, that's a rather vague diagnosis from where I sit and I would want additional information. For example, have you had an audiogram done? Have you had a TINNITUS EVALUATION performed (done by audiologists). And as far as the MRI is concerned was it done with gadolinium contrast and was a high resolution IAC protocol performed to look for other causes of your tinnitus other than "auditory nerve degeneration" which should really not be happening in an otherwise healthy 35 year old young woman? If you'd like to upload the results of the MRI scan to me I'd be happy to comment further.
