Suggest Treatment For Depression And Suicidal Thoughts

I am a 27 yr girl. Got married before 3 Months. After my marriage i m getting severe depression. Now.. I cant work, eat, sleep properly. My husband is having remarkably low sex drive (4 to 5 times of intercourse in a period of 20 days), he is damn selfish and insensitive , do not think about me or our relationship..he thinks only about his career, money, his own family etc. Every time i feel like drowning or suffocating.. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you seem to be suffering from severe type of depression. I advise you to consult a psychiatrist immediately for further evaluation and treatment with anti-depressants under close monitoring. Also, convince your husband to seek treatment for his decreased libido.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
