Suggest Treatment For Diabetes And Thyroid

Hi...my mom is suffering from diabetes and thoiryd since last 6 years.she is also doing treatment in Varanasi at Dr.jain.. She feel good but I want know that means diabetes medicine is powerful ?? What s the side effects of this medicine ?? If this is harmful for body, than this medicine can effect on heart and kidney ?? Please give me answer

Hi,

Every medicine may have its side effects. The continuation of a medicine is to be depend on its risk vs benefits for a particular disease. Most of the drugs being used for type 2 diabetes and conditions of thyroid are safe and have minimum side effects and these side effects are usually transient, which go by themselves usually with time.

Usually medicines used for diabetes do not have ill effect on heart and kidney but uncontrolled diabetes can definitely have deteriorating effect on kidney and heart. Therefore you are advised to take the medicines of your mom strictly under guidance of your doctor.
