Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has been having loose stools for over a year, with more frequency finding some blood in stool. He has had discomfort in general, fatigue, and gas/ heartburn. This past week he started having some facial swelling (which went away) lumps appearing and disappearing on his arms, legs, back, and groin, and continues to have severe itching in hands and forearms despite frequent Benadryl. Are all these tied together? I know he needs to go to doctor, but he keeps putting it off since we don't have insurance.
- allow him plenty of liquids . - give him balanced nutritious diet with pro biotics as fresh curd . - certain GI antibiotics , pro biotics medicines require prescription of the doctor .
Hope this will help you for sure . Wishing him fine recovery .
Welcome for any further guidance . Regards . Dr. Bhagyesh ( MS , FMAS - consultant surgeon )
