Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Urination

hi yes my 80 year old father had difficulty urinating has since been hospitalised and is now wearing a catheter until further checks, blood has been found in urine since cathiter fitted, hospital advised "trauma blood" waiting for an appointment to ascertain cause can anyone offer advise, ps heart rate low and blood pressure low and he is on beta blockers and has had heart attack and has angina, thanks

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Blood in urine due to catheterization is commonly due to trauma only.
2. At this time, another possibility is urinary tract infection. Get an urine examination microscopy for bacteria and also a culture done. If culture is positive, then treatment is necessary.
3. He needs to treated early for trauma or infection as it could turn critical with all his prevailing conditions.
