I had a large bowel resection due to diverticular disease (about 8 ) laproscopically with anastamosis at the rectum almost 6 months ago. I recovered quickly--no hernias. I had extreme pulling locolized left sided pain following surgery and that area has remained painful ever since, though not acute. I had a CT scan 1 month ago and it showed that my transverse colon has dropped and is now lying at the base of my abdominal cavity. That probably explains the pressure I feel there, lessened bladder control, the difficulty with bowel movements, etc.. I believe this is quite unusual and wonder if it can be fixed as I cannot imagine living with this indefinitely. Any insight would be appreciated
