Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Stuffy Head Sensation And Ear Pain?
I was diagnosed with costochondritis a couple of months ago. About a week after those symptoms started, I started to feel dizzy. I am not sure what I have or what is going on but the symptoms come and go. I am getting better but I am not sure whether I have something like labyrinthitis. Today for example, I am sort of dizzy but my main concern is the full/stuffy head sensation. I carry an enormous amount of tension in my neck and jaw so I took myself to a chiropractor who suspects this could all be muscular. All of the symptoms have been on the right side i.e. full right hear, popping right ear, slight ringing in the right ear and this is also the side that carries all of the tension. I am confused as to whether it is viral or muscular. I am studying my master s at the moment and need this to go away!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ruptured ear drum caused by intake of amoxicillin. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like otitis media , physical injury , migraine , meniere's disease or acoustic trauma. I would suggest you to apply dry warm compresses externally and keep it dry while bathing . Consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may examine ear with otoscope along with imaging techniques like CT scan to find out exact cause . Doctor may prescribe other antibiotics like gentamycin at least for 5 days along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine or doctor may also examine for sinusitis . For now take steam thrice a day , avoid bending forward and drink warm water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
