Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain, Headache, Sore Throat And Joint Pain

I have face pain, ear pain, headache, sore throat, joint pain to where I hurt non stop. I went to the doctor and they said I had a sinus infection and put me on antibiotics and a decongestant. I have one more day of antibiotics and I feel worse than I did. Only thing that makes me feel better is to take two excedrine migraine every day and ibuprophen every 4 hours. I have been doing this for almost 5 weeks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an upper respiratory tract infection. Consult a general practitioner and get evaluated. A short course of antibiotics can be started empirically. For pain and headache, drugs like paracetamol can be added.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
