Suggest Treatment For Eczema In An Infant

Hi...My 18 month old son has been diagnosed with Eczema, like his father. His flare ups are usually on his face only. However for the past week, his butt has done the same thing, but worse! I took him to the doctor yesterday and she gave me Nystatin (for a possible yeast infection), & Cortisone Cream. But they arent helping! Hes peeling, still red & its as bad on the butt as it is his cheeks. Other than keeping him clean & dry, and applying the ointments given to me, do you have any other suggestions? Im pretty desperate here...Im online typing this to a total stranger. I just want him to have some relief. Please help!!! Mom of 5:-)
