Suggest Treatment For Elevated Blood Pressure When Taking Prednisone?
I have been on prednisone 50 mg for 3 days and I feel horrible my blood pressure is elevated and I am nervous. I am suppose to stay on it for 5 days however I don t want to take it any longer will I have more side effects if I stop without weaning down?

Withdrawal side effects of prednisolone and other corticosteroids are witnessed only with chronic use and with high doses.Since you have had it only for 3 days, it will not affect you.You may even continue and complete the duration(5 days) as prescribed by your Doctor.Just be calm.
