Hi,

An epididymal cyst is a fluid-filled sac of the epididymis containing serous liquid. Having epididymal cyst doesn't affect a man's fertility. Cysts will usually go away on their own. If the cyst is painful, applying a warm washcloth can help reduce swelling.

If a cyst becomes infected, a course of antibiotics would be need to treat the infection. If the swelling is big along with infection, aspiration is a procedure that would be employed and would help relieve the pain and pressure.

Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
