I am a female of 42 yrs of age and about 190 pounds. I have a continuous rumbling noise in upper left under the ribs and followed with excessive belching. No matter how i change the diet I find excessive gas always moving upwards and causing backpain. Tried all over the counter gas medicine and Probiotics.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have excessive belching and gas. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like irritable bowel syndrome or to indigestion. Irritable bowel syndrome commonly causes cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation and usually coexists with anxiety. Certain foods as broccoli and cauliflower along with dairy products also cause bloating , so avoid them . Consult gastroenterologist for proper checkup . Doctor may order stool test , endoscopy or ultrasound . Doctor may prescribe treatment for belching and indigestion, like Simethicone for reducing intestinal gas. Doctor may also prescribe omeprazole , and anti inflammatory . For now drink plenty of warm water and do light walking .
