Hello and thank you for using HCM.
I carefully read you question and understand your concern.
I will try to explain you something and give you my opinion.
Normal
heart rate ranges between 50-100 beat for minute. If your heart goes more than 100/beats for minute in regular rhythm its called sinus tachycardia
In these cases you might feel your heart like running and coming aout of chest. Or you might experience an extra-systolic beat, that is an electrical impulse out of the regular one that you experience like a heart beat in your chest.
These rhythm issues might have different causes like simple stress,
anemia,
hyperthyroidism, excessive alcohol and caffeine consumption ect.
According to your pains like pins, i would say that they are not typical cardiac chest pains, so you should not worry.
Al-thou, to be sure that every thing is alright, if i was your treating doctor i will recommend an electrocardiogram, a cardiac echo, a simple
blood test, your actual thyroid function, a holter rhythm monitoring and a
stress test.
After this we can stay sure that every thing is alright.
Hope I was helpful.
Best regards, Dr Ervina.
