Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query symptoms such as fatigue, sore and swollen throat are pointing towards a condition known as sore throat or upper respiratory tract infection , which occur due to bacterial or viral infection . I would suggest you to do gargles with warm saline water , drink plenty of fluid to keep your self hydrate , take ibuprofen (if not allergic ) or acetaminophen for pain and inflammation and take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl. Usually virus complete its course , so drugs are given to relief symptoms. If symptoms persist or get worse then you should consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to rule out conditions like acid reflux and bacterial infection . Doctor may order blood test or throat swab test to confirm diagnosis . He/she may prescribe decongestants , antibiotics/antiviral depending upon your condition .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
