Suggest Treatment For Flu Symptoms And Lung Infection
When I get the flu I end up with a cough that lasts for quite some time (I m currently in my fourth week with it) and mucus build up in the airways. When I was younger I was tested for hooping cough and asthma, yet I do not have them. In 2013, I was also tested for asthma and they just said it was a lung infection. I went to the doctors last week and she said it was just a chest infection and prescribed steroids - which didn t work. So i went back to the doctors this morning and he refused to believe that chronic bronchitis is anything but impossible - I m a 20 year old female / non smoker - but my grandad has chronic bronchitis and i ve been passive smoking (unintentionally) as my mum is a smoker. is it possible that i do have chronic bronchitis?
As you explain the situation, we say someone or a patient has chronic bronchitis if it is for two consecutive years for three months each year. So it is your doctor that should evaluate you closely and should discuss with you for the above.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
