Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What causes pain in the foot - when pressure is applied to the arch area to start with, and has progressed to being unable to apply pressure to the ball of the foot or the toes? I HAD A BONE SCAN TODAY and all the technician would say was that he could see that I obviously had pain in my foot - the images were bright white only in one foot and alone big toe.

Suggest Treatment For Foot Pain
Hello, Very likely you are having plantar fasciitis. This is an inflammation of the plantar fascia that goes from the heel to the toes. Treatment consists of ibuprofen, physiotherapy and ice. If these do not help enough, local injections can be applied. I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
