General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is very important to administer proper dosage of medicine to children and it depends upon their weight as well as overall health. The reason for his symptoms can be viral or bacterial or allergic. I suggest to seek a pediatrician's advice on this as in children there can dangerous adverse effects of drugs if given without proper physical examination. If needed the doctor will advice some diagnostic tests and additional medicines for fast recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
