Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have enormous amount of gas, bloating and fatigue even though I have decent bowel movements. I take a daily probiotic, healthy diet( lean meat, vegs, fruit and limited processed foods) with plenty of water. I ve been to numerous GI doctors with no relief. any suggestions
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, you fatigue is due lack of vitamins due to indigestion and malabsorption. For your fatigue, I will recommend you to start taking multi-vitamins. For your bloating and gas, you must take something like a Ranitidine after food for a 8-10 days. You must try and change your meal, to see if that effects your gas. It is possible that you are intolerant to one or more of the things that you are eating right now. Many people are intolerant to high proteins, milk and even certain fruits. Also, I will recommend you to start yoga exercises for digestion. These will help you maintain weight as well.
Take care, Regards
