Hello,

You are suffering from gas, bloating and tiredness. You Had tests and investigations done that showed you have a slimy sludge around your gall bladder and have symptoms of vomiting and burning sensation in the throat. You are experiencing symptoms due to gall bladder sludge that has been diagnosed. You are suggested to take low fat, low cholesterol, and low sodium diet diet to help improve your symptoms. Gall bladder sludge is a recurring condition.

You are suggested to take a healthy, well-balanced diet with high fiber foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and beans. Take healthy fats like fish oil or olive oil. Avoid or cut down on refined carbs, sugar, fried foods, and trans fats.

Healthy lifestyle changes and diet control help reduce symptoms but in case pain, inflammation, or gallstones are detected then your treating doctor may recommend removing the gallbladder altogether. In the meantime, you can take Pantoprazole, Pan-40mg, one daily in the morning for 10 days will help reduce the discomfort. Avoid constipation, take laxatives if needed. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
