Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems to be dyspepsia. It may be associated with infection condition (can be managed with proper antibiotic), anti-protozoa infection or acid peptic disease. You can discuss this with his doctor. If the stomach symptoms are the only matters then it is nothing to worry because geriatric symptoms some time may not need any specific treatment but diet change may help a lot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
