Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Firstly i would advice you to visit your physician for rheumatoid arthritis. Please donot discontinue this treatment without doctor's advice.
The acidity problem which your mother is having is due to medicine for rheumatoid. For this, you can give her tablet pantoprazole half hour before meal twice a day regularly.
Also give her fibrous food more like salads. Avoid fatty meals. Take food in small quantity in frequent intervals.
Avoid tea, coffee at bedtime.

Thanks.
