Suggest Treatment For Gastritis, Hiatal Hernia And Gastric Polyps
I recently had an endoscopy and colonoscopy with results of diverticulosis, gastritis, hiatal hernia, and a gastric polyp was removed. Was instructed to stop taking prescribed omeprazole and start zantac 150 mg / 2 X per day. Also to start taking metamuicil daily. Acid refux and heartburn has returned was thinking of mastic gum capsules and DGL for stomach. Any suggestions?

The symptoms are due to severe acid reflux and associated gastritis.
Continue conservative management with antacids.
