I had an EGD which revealed LA Grade C esophagitis. Biopsies were taken, revealing presence of goblet cells , intestinal metaplasia consist with Barretts esophagus. I follow up with my GI doctor in two weeks time. I have been prescribed 20mg omeprazole BID until then. I have a follow-up EGD in 6 weeks to check healing. What would be good questions to ask my GI doctor when I next see him?
