Hello,

Kindly mention which investigations have been done in your case?

For chronic diarrhea, rule out bacterial or parasites infective etiology by stool routine micro examination and stool culture study. According to cause specific treatment must be given.

If stool shows positive parasite, then anthelmintic drug like Albendazole needed. If still no cause found, then colonoscopy can be done and biopsy can be taken.

Celiac disease can be ruled out by antiendomysial antibody investigation. Consult the physician for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
