I got out of bed this morning, slipped and hit my head against the wall, I take 6mg of warfarin every day as I had AF some years ago, and I have to take warfarin every day. I did put an ice pack on the side of my head, it hurts a little. I have taken 2 paracet amol for the pain.
No further treatment is necessary. Since you are writing this thread yourself in a clear way I suppose your mental status is fine at the moment and there is no reason to panic. However because your treatment with warfarin brings an augmented risk for a hemorrhage, it would be good if you were not alone at least during the first 24 hours, so that in case it was noted some other sign like confusion, lethargy, vomiting, weakness of the limbs on one side, you could be brought to hospital.
