Suggest Treatment For Headache And Anxiety Attacks During Pregnancy
Hi i am 39 weeks pregnant. Lat night i went to bed with a bad headache, this morning i still had the headache, after being awake for a few hours i had an anxiety attack. I still have a headache but not to bad. Now my face feels really hot. Should i worry I have a history of headaches and anxiety attacks Thank you
To me, you should check your blood pressure. It is common to have hypertension at your pregnancy age. So, better get sure you are not having high blood pressure plus check your blood sugar levels, and kidney function to rule out related problems.
Perhaps you are anxious about delivery. It's normal for pregnant women. Hope it is only anxiety. Take chamomile tea. Focus on your daily activities and not on delivery.
Be more social. Avoid looking for delivery videos or other information that might increase your anxiety.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
