Suggest Treatment For Headache, Back Pain And Chest Pain

I picked up a cold or Flu on Thanksgiving Weekend From Grand Kids. Now When I Cough My Chest And Back Hurt With In Lung Area With A Dry Rashly Cough. My Head Is Stuffy And Blowing Nose A lot. I Smoked Before 2009. I Was Wondering If I Might Have Pneumonia?

I really appreciate your concern,
this,Seems to be allergic rhinitis.

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having cold and cough.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be allergic rhinitis due to cold climate.
Chest and back can hurt due to excessive coughing which causes muscle tension in back muscles.

As such, allergic rhinitis needs steroidal sprays and prophylactic anti allergic medications, after evaluating with Ent surgeon ( ent examination and blood tests for the severity of allergic rhinitis).

Kindly go ahead for ent consultation and blood tests.

Mean time, protect your self from cold climate, stop consuming freezer products ( curd/ice creams) and do steam inhalation to clear nasal secretions from sinuses.
