Suggest Treatment For Heavy Bleeding

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and IS (painful bladder syndrome) and recently put on Elmiron. The last 3 yrs my periods have been irregular which I thought was early (peri) menopause like my mom in her early 30's (I am 35) after the thyroid meds, they regulated some, but still may skip some here or there. well, my problem now is bleeding since the end of March. It was light, but now scary heavy.

My doctor put me on medroxyprogesterone 10 mg to take for 5 days to stop the bleeding. I'm heavier today after pill #2. Will I stop? Does the Elmiron have anything to with it, it's a mild blood thinner I've only been taking 2 months, but told it will be long term for me. Reg Dr didn't think so, she thinks it's all hormone related? I just want the bleeding to stop. She says my iron level is normal but I feel anemic.....what do U think?
