Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding While Having Uterine Fibroids
I am 53 years old and have not gone through menopause. My period ended 7 days ago and now it has started again yesterday. I have fibroids that cause me to have heavy periods. This is the first time I had my period come on a week after it ended. What could be the cause of my period starting again so soon?

As a first line management you can take drugs like tranexemic acid to control bleeding. If bleeding persist, it will be better to go for hysterectomy (surgical removal of uterus). Alternative options like uterine artery embolization can also be thought. Consult a gynecologist and he will direct you accordingly.
