Suggest Treatment For Hernia, Constipation And Cramping

I think I have a hernia from my breastbone down to the top of my belly button. I recently had a endoscopy procedure and the doctor said that I probably have gastritis. I know that I have a large hernia and am in a lot of pain with swelling , cronic constipation and cramping. What should I do?

Hernias that big need to be fixed surgically. Hernias can cause a lot of pain and bloating, but they very rarely cause constipation. The majority are actually asymptomatic. I would recommend trying to treat your constipation with increasing the amount of fiber, fluids, and whole grains in your diet. I would also recommend exercise and stool softeners such as miralax.
