Hai, Iam aged 47, healthy. Recently my lipid profile shows the following readings Total cholesterol (213), TG (380), HDL(50), LDL(87), VLDL (76). TC/HDL (4.2) and LDL/HDL (1.7) My TG is higher. I am pure vegetarian. Very less eat oil food. No aloholic and smoking. Wish to reduce TG by natural way. Wheteher any medication required?

Hi dear.Welcome and thanks for posting me on HCM. I really appreciate your interest to lower TG by natural means.Since you have a healthy diet I were to advice exercise (in any form walking, swimming) which is the best option to reduce your TG's.
I were to start on a low dose of Fenofibrate (145 nanonised tablet) to take care of your TG's which are high(normal <150mg/dl).I would further titrate the dose depending on the fitness regime you may choose after monitoring the plasma levels.Hope this answers your query.Get well soon.
