Suggest Treatment For Hip Arthritis

I have been diagnosed with arthritis in both hips and am having trouble walking straight and tend to want to lean forward. I do not want to use a walker although I could get used to one after having done so. Should I be resigned to the fact that I have no choice but to use it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Use of walker is for your own safety and to avoid directly applying body weight to already damaged hips. They advised you walker so that your hips may not get more and more wear and tear with every step you walk, and the drugs may give their optimal benefits to you.

Final suggestion:
Please use walker for giving rest to the hips for getting some healing process to go on properly.

Hope I answered all of your questions. Have a wonderful time ahead. Keep in touch for a follow-up too.

Regards!
