Suggest Treatment For Hip Bursitis And Intense Hip Pain
My doctor who practices integrative medicine diagnosed my condition as bursitis and gave me eight shots in the hip area, after palpating the area thoroughly. The shots didn t cure the intense pain in my hip, but only when I walk. And the pain is intermittent. Sometimes there is no discomfort whatsoever. Of course my gait is impaired. I am 83 and in remarkably good health otherwise. What should my next step be?

Apply ice. Take pain killers. Avoid walking till you have relief. Avoid lying on the affected side.
