I HAVE BEEN HAVING MEMORY PROBLEMS,MORE SINCE LAST FALL WHEN MY PAIN DOCTOR BEGAN TO SWITCH MY MEDICINE AROUND. I HAVE BEEN ON EFFEXOR XR FOR FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS, ORIGINALLY PRESCRIBED FOR HOT FLASHES AND SLEEPLESSNESS AT 37.5MG. I AM ALMOST 65, RETIRED FOR 2 YEARS AND MY SHORT TERM MEMORY IS SORELY BEING TESTED. WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE.
