Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I can understand your concern.
According to your history,
Tuberculosis can affect the pelvic organs causing
pelvic inflammatory disease and can affect the fertility. Sometimes it can present in the form of
hydrosalpinx.
Endometrial biopsy rules out the possibility of infection in uterus, but that may not represent Fallopian tubal status. Hydrosalpinx can occur due to other causes like infections, adhesions, previous pelvic surgery,
endometriosis etc.
But as your ultrasound etc were normal, there is less possibility for these causes. As your TB gold and montoux test were positive, your doctor might have recommended anti
tuberculosis treatment to you. It is better to follow the treatment. If hydrosalpinx is because of tuberculosis that can hopefully get resolved after the treatment. After completion of the treatment you can repeat the investigations like sonohysterosalngogram, which will help in finding out uterine and tubal status. If tubes and ovarian function are normal, you can plan pregnancy and may not need artificial reproductive methods.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
