Suggest Treatment For Hyperpigmentation Between The Thighs

Hi, I am a 24 year old African American female, not overweight but my thighs naturally rub against eachother. I am very self conscious of the hyperpigmentation between my thighs. I wanted to know what I could do to lighten that area and if retin a and tca peels would be effective. I email pictures if need be.

Hi,

As you stated, the hyperpigmentation would occur as a result of the friction between the surfaces.

Even if lighting agents are used, if the friction continues, then the pigmentation would recur.

You would need to reduce friction but using either barrier creams/lotions or materials. Barrier creams such as petroleum or zinc-based creams can be used.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
