good morning doctor, i am suffering from iethyosis skin disease from my childhood. i consulted few dermatologist in bhubeneswar, they are saying it is permanently not curable.one doctor suggest below prescription codesoft capsules (evening primrose oil&cold liver oil capsules) thermal cap(levocetirizine dihydrochloride capsules) elovera lotion+momata lotion another doctor suggest prescrption withvenusia max skin cream and dewmiss soap with above medicine i did not find any improvement. can you please suggest any medicine so that it permanently cured my problem

I advice you to try the below medications for long term ichthyosis, -Avoid using soaps especially strong chemical soaps. -After a bath apply liquid paraffin or vaseline will prevent scaling and dryness. - Moisturex cream or Cotaryl ointment - Neosporin skin ointment if secondary infection, Apply twice a day for 3 months. - Keralin ointment for 2-3 months especially for soles.
If very keratotic: - Cortilate (Halcinonide) 0.1% cream at night 15-20 days.
