Suggest Treatment For Inability To Walk Due To Spinal Cord Damage

My abdomen feels like a belt is tightening around it and my feet and legs are numb and tingling. My legs are jumping around on their own. I have been told by a neurosurgeon that I have spinal cord damage from an infection and I can t walk anymore. What do I have and what treatment is there?
