Suggest Treatment For Infection In Lungs.

dear sir, my cousin aged 42 has been diagonised with adenoid cystic carcinoma in both lungs. 10yrs back he had undergone surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation. Everything is fine as there is no sign of health detoriation or complications as such. But a fortnight back when he went for regular check up ( with PET SCAN) it revealed that both his lungs were infected - right more than the left one. Biopsy confirmed it. Now docs say there is no treatment as such.Pls advice.

Hello

Thank you for asking
I am sorry for your cousin.I will try to give you some information regarding to lung cancer.
You explain that in the first he has been under surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation. This mean that the cancer was still relatively under control.PET SCAN suspicion and biopsy confirmed shows that the cancer is spread in both lungs.
In this stage of cancer the oncologist may advise a palliative care for your cousin. These centers are especially for the patients with advanced cancer and give a special help for them.
So i would strongly advise these centers.

I hope good recovery for yous cousin

Thank you
