Hello
I have gone through your question.
Irregular periods caused by
hormone imbalance or even a thyroid problem can be a otential cause of your fertility problem also called infertility.
You didn't mention what exactly is your thyroid condition.
Anyway,if you were my patient i will ask to do the thyroid fuction tests (TSH fT3 and fT4 ) to understand better you thyroid gland condition and if this condition is the cause of your problem.
Other helpful tests are Cortisol, DHEA, Estrogen,
Progesterone, and
Testosterone level. These tests can give the necessary information if you have any hormone imbalance that may be the culpit of your actual infertility.
My suggestion for you is to consult a local
obgyn for the the tests and the follow up of your situation.
It is necessary to find the cause and only than you can be successful to conceive.
Taking hormones to address a hormone imbalance, taking medications to stimulate ovulation or using supplements to enhance fertility can be possible alternative of treatement.
Discuss with you obgy ,what is the right treatement for you in your specific case.
Hope this is helpful.
If you ahve other questions, feel free and ask.
Take care.
