I am experiencing right inner ear pain that seems to worsen when i bend over. the pains are stabbing when they occur. I also have right sided scalp pain. I recently had microvascular decompression on left side for TN now 3 months post-op. Any answers
It would be advisable to consult a Neurologist doctor and MRI brain to find out the cause.
You may find relief by taking the following medication: Antidepressants like Amytriptilline, Anticonvulsants like Carbamazepine,Gabapentine, Vitamin B12 like Methylcobalamin.
Microvascular decompression surgery as done on left side might be needed if there is no relief with the medication.
Hope this answers your question.Take care.
