Hi I have insomnia during the night not being able to sleep through 3 hours without waking up I have headaches during the day my body feels exhausted and I take 4 hours naps during the day so I feel like I am wasting my day what could be wrong and what should I do?
Hello This problem of insomnia could be due to stress. You should follow sleep hygiene habits: Avoid daytime naps. Avoid fatty, heavy meal in dinner. Take warm milk and have a warm water bath at bedtime. Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation. Associate your bed with sleep only. Donot keep lying on bed idly for watching tv, reading etc. Establish a regular bedtime routine.
