Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Sore Throat

I ve been having sore throat every now and then. The past month, I had it twice. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics the first time. It was accompanied by flu. Second time, I didnt have fever, just sore throat. Noticed that during the holidays whenever i ate too much sweets, it ll get sore and painful after few days. I drank antibiotics to relieve and cure it. It went away but now it s back again. Not sure if it s because i have cough and mucous. What s wrong with me? Should i get worried?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello. it is likely that your infection is not getting treated properly , that is either the course of antibiotic is incomplete or it is not the correct one. please meet your ENT doctor, who may take a throat swab for culture and find out the correct organisms. it is also likely you may also be having some acid reflux, please discuss with your ENT doctor. thanks
