Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a thick patchy rash that came up almost 2 yrs ago on the back of my ankle. Started out like a rough patch the size if a quarter and itched like hell. It s about 8 inch tall and 5 inch wide now. I thought excema at first, then psoriosis, and then finally found a pic of neuro dermatitis and the symptoms were very similar cause due to stress this past couple years, also around the time this came up and it seems to itch the most when I m upset or stressed. I have a pic but it won t let me post it.
I can't comment on the distinction until seen physically or an imge at least.
Whatever it may come. If I say there is a common, safe Ayurvedic herbal oil remedy for such problems, you have the option to act upon it or not to act upon it.
Wash the affected area with Neem leaves (Azadirachta indica) decoction. Then apply classical Marichyadi tel and Neem oil mixed. Prefer twice a day. Keep it for few hrs. Sometimes scratch the skin with comb and then apply oil.
Additionally I give to my own patients Cap Neem 1 bid, cap Haridra 1 bid and Cap Manjishtha 1 bid for 16 weeks. No side effects. No counteraction with other medicine.
It's pure herbal, safe, blood and skin cleanser.
Hope it helps you.
