Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes Causing Blisters On Arm, Shoulder And Chest

I have recently started experiencing a rash, started on my wrist and has been found on my forearm, side of one breast, chest and shoulder. It starts out as smooth pin point red spots under the skin, it s not raised, looks almost like tiny blood blisters under the surface. Within a day or two, it surfaces and gets scabbed over, but the blisters (for lack of a better word) are larger once it comes to the skin surface. It doesn t itch very much at all. It looks terrible once it scabs over though.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes causing blisters on arm, shoulder and chest which seems to be due to infection of hair follicles leading to folliculitis. It could be due to excessive exposure to sunlight. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to Apply little pressure on that area with cotton dipped in warm water to ooze out the pus properly. Take antibiotics orally to prevent further infection. Use calamine lotion on that to resolve itchiness .Your symptoms will start resolving in 3-5 days. If it keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once to find out any hidden cause for your symptoms. Apply betadine over area and clean that area properly with antimicrobial agent. Use of corticosteroid ointment is helpful.
