Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain When Diagnosed With Osteoarthritis

Hi, I have osteoarthritis and recently has 2 successful knee replacements. Thursday I woke up with severe knee pain and joint pain in shoulders, hips, feet, back and thumbs. I went to work using a cane.. which I have not needed since post op day 10. what happened.

Hello,

Such pain may arise due to infection, inflammation or loosening of the implant. Visit ER & have a follow up examination done to get confirmed about the factor causing such discomfort. You may need to get a knee cap (patellofemoral) problem, or alignment problem to get fixed.

If needed get Blood tests & Imaging tests done. Get evaluated get treated at the earliest.
