Hello and welcome to hcm!
I have read your query and I found that you have severe depressive disorder with major sleeping issues.
I would like to tell you that the sleep is disturbed very commonly in
depression. Your doctor has put you
wellbutrin and some sleeping pills but there is no benefit in sleep. Before i help further I would have liked to know the complete status of your depression. If the sadness is fine or still there?
How to treat the sleeping issue-
1 . Had I had such a case in my clinic I would have shifted the patient to either
mirtazapine or venalafaxine from wellbutrin.
They are much better drugs and mirtazapine also has additional sleeping properties.
2. The dose of wellbutrin can be taken upto 450mg only. And you are taking almost higher dose of this drug wihout much benefit so,its useless to continue with it.
3.you can get vit B12 & vit d levels done.
4 . Learn a deep breathing technique and practice it.
5. Try to avoid sleeping in daytime and avoid tea and coffee after 3pm. This will help sleep.
Please talk to your doctor about the above points.
Wish you good health.
