Suggest Treatment For Large Red & Sore Tonsils

My tonsils have been large, red and sore for a little over two weeks. Early on, it hurt to talk/felt like I was communicating by shouting. It doesn t hurt to talk now, just swallow. My tonsils look like they have tripled in size and they have a few large dimples on them. Day 3 of being sick, I was diagnosed with enterovirus. The first four or 5 days of the sickness, I was sore all over.

1. To rule out whether it is Acute Tonsilits or Acute Pharyngitis you must see an E.N.T. doctor for further line of management, till then:
. Voice rest
. Take hot drinks to sip
. Warm salt water gargles.
. Avoid allergens like dust, cold drinks, fried foods.
. Antibiotic and anri inflammatory drug with antitussive syrup.
